01 The brief
Köttfabriken is a premium online butcher we admire. Their existing storefront is functional but feels like every other Shopify deployment. We rebuilt the storefront on our own time to see whether a calm, premium shell could lift conversion without slowing anything down.
02 The approach
01
Categorized browsing that respects how people actually buy meat
Cuts are organized by occasion and animal — 'dinner for two', 'low-and-slow', 'whole sirloin' — not just by SKU group. Each category page leads with a short editorial intro before the grid.
02
Product detail pages with real depth
Each PDP carries provenance copy, cooking notes, customer ratings, and a 'pairs well with' module. The page treats the product as something you read about before you buy.
03
Featured favorites + brand showcases
The home page surfaces a rotating set of favorites alongside the producer brands behind them. It frames the storefront as a curated shop, not an open marketplace.
04
Trustpilot integrated honestly
Reviews are pulled in live, including the ones that are not five stars. Hiding the lower scores would undermine the premium positioning the rest of the site is doing.

Sent over, never heard back. The deployment lives at beef-factory.vercel.app as a reference for the e-commerce work we'd ship if asked.
