1. Introduction
This Refund Policy explains how NuvoraWeb LLC (“NuvoraWeb LLC”, “Nuvora”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) handles refunds for web design, development, hosting, and related services (the “Services”) offered through www.nuvoraweb.com.
This policy supplements our Terms of Service. Where there is a conflict, the Terms govern except where applicable law requires otherwise.
2. How Billing Works
We build a demo website for your review at no charge. You are not asked to pay until you have reviewed that demo and decided to move forward. Once you subscribe and your first payment is processed, we complete your website and deliver the ongoing Services included in your plan.
By subscribing after reviewing your demo, you confirm that the preview met your expectations for moving forward and that you authorize us to complete the project and begin continuous delivery of the Services.
3. General Refund Policy
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, all fees paid to NuvoraWeb LLC are final and non-refundable. This includes subscription fees, fixed-term plan fees, one-time buyout fees, and fees for bespoke Enterprise or custom engagements.
Because the Services are delivered continuously — design, development, hosting, support, and updates — we do not issue refunds for periods that have already begun, for partial months, or for unused time remaining after you cancel.
4. Monthly Subscriptions
Subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Professional) are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor in the currency shown at checkout. Each payment covers the upcoming billing period during which we actively deliver the Services.
You may cancel a month-to-month subscription at any time in accordance with our Terms, but cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period. Your subscription remains active through the end of any applicable notice period described in our Terms.
5. Fixed-Term Plans
If you agree to a fixed term — for example, 6 or 12 months — the full commitment is due according to the billing schedule in your agreement. Fixed-term fees are non-refundable once the term has started, including if you cancel before the term ends.
Early cancellation of a fixed-term plan does not release you from remaining fees owed for the agreed term unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
6. Buyouts & One-Time Fees
If you purchase full code ownership through a one-time buyout or similar lump-sum fee, that payment is final and non-refundable once processed. Buyout deliverables are provided according to the terms of your plan or written agreement.
Buyout fees do not retroactively refund subscription payments made before the buyout.
7. Enterprise & Custom Engagements
Bespoke Enterprise projects, statements of work, and other custom engagements may involve deposits, milestones, or project-based fees. Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, all such fees are non-refundable once work on that milestone or phase has begun.
Any refund terms for a custom engagement must be agreed in writing before payment. In the absence of written terms, this Refund Policy applies.
8. Billing Errors
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge, an incorrect amount, or a charge after a confirmed cancellation — contact us within 14 days of the charge at info@nuvoraweb.com. We will investigate in good faith.
Verified billing errors will be refunded to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of confirmation. This is the only routine circumstance in which we issue refunds.
9. Cancellation vs. Refunds
Cancelling your subscription stops future billing according to our Terms — including any applicable notice period — but it is not the same as receiving a refund. You remain responsible for fees owed through the effective cancellation date.
Because NuvoraWeb LLC retains ownership of the code that powers your website, your site will be taken offline on the effective date of cancellation, as described in our Terms of Service.
10. United States Consumers
NuvoraWeb LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. If you are a consumer located in the United States, the general no-refund policy above applies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable federal and state law.
Some states provide additional consumer protections that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the laws of your state of residence. If applicable law requires a refund in a specific situation, we will comply with that requirement.
11. European Union & EEA Consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, you may have statutory rights under local consumer-protection law, including a 14-day right of withdrawal for certain distance contracts.
Because you review a demo website before subscribing and payment triggers completion of your project and immediate, ongoing delivery of digital Services, you may be asked to expressly consent to us beginning performance before any withdrawal period expires and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once performance has fully begun — as permitted under applicable EU/EEA/UK rules for digital services.
Where mandatory consumer law gives you rights we cannot contract away — including in your country of residence — those rights apply and take precedence over this policy. If you believe a statutory right applies to your purchase, contact us with details and we will review your request in accordance with applicable law.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local consumer protection authority or data protection authority where relevant.
12. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend the Services while the dispute is investigated. We reserve the right to provide your payment processor and financial institution with evidence of your subscription, acceptance of these terms, and Service delivery.
Please email us first at info@nuvoraweb.com so we can resolve legitimate billing issues quickly.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date below. Material changes will be communicated by email or via a notice on the Site at least 14 days before they take effect where required.
