01 The brief

Skiforeningen is Norway's iconic ski association — promoting outdoor life since 1883. Their site does a lot of jobs at once: trail reports, cabin bookings, membership, news, community. We rebuilt the surface to handle all of them without losing the institutional weight that a 140-year-old organisation carries.

02 The approach

  1. 01

Trail reports as the daily action

For most members, this site is checked once a week in winter and once a year for membership renewal. The home page promotes today's trail conditions above everything else, with a regional filter and a last-updated timestamp.

  2. 02

Cabin bookings, membership, and renewals on one rail

All transactional flows live behind a single account surface. Members renew, book a cabin, and update payment in three taps — instead of three separate microsites.

  3. 03

News + community photo galleries with the same template

Editorial articles and member photo galleries share one CMS schema. It removes the visual divide between 'official' content and 'community' content — a small move that matters for a member-driven organisation.

  4. 04

Partner showcases that respect the partners

Sponsors get a dedicated page with context, not a logo wall. For a civic organisation, the partner relationships are political — surfacing them properly is part of the institutional job.
