01 The brief
Fyllingsdalen Pizzeria is a neighbourhood pizza and kebab spot in Bergen we admire — open every day, built on fresh dough from three types of flour, and the only place in the city serving Crispy Chicken. Their old site couldn't browse a menu this wide, surface take-away ordering, or tell guests which Bergen districts they deliver to. We rebuilt the surface on our own time.
02 The approach
01
Appetite first, menu second
The fold is a full-bleed pizza photograph, the 'Det er smaken som teller!' tagline, and one paragraph on what makes the place different — including the Crispy Chicken claim. 'Se vår meny' sits directly below. The site sells hunger before it sells navigation.
02
A menu that matches how people actually order
Thirty-five pizzas, calzones, platters, burgers, fried chicken, and salads don't belong on one endless page. The menu splits into eight tabbed categories — Pizza, Innbakt, Tallerken, Biffburger, Fast Food, Chicken, Salater, and Drikke — with medium and large pricing where it matters and allergen notes where the law requires them.
03
Phone as the primary conversion path
Take-away is still how most local pizzerias convert. The header, hero, take-away strip, and footer all surface the same click-to-call number — with delivery coverage called out explicitly for Fyllingsdalen, Bønes, Søreide, Laksevåg, and Loddefjord.
04
Trust cues for a food business
100% Norwegian meat, three-flour dough, gluten-free crust options, and daily opening hours aren't buried in the footer — they're surfaced in the about section and repeated as icon strips so a first-time guest knows what they're getting before they dial.

04 What we'd ship next
We sent the work over and never heard back. The deployment stays up at fyllingsdalen-pizza.vercel.app as a portfolio piece — proof of the kind of work we'd ship for a local restaurant that lives on take-away and repeat neighbourhood orders.
